“Avoid Politics of Bitterness” Ali Goshi Advises
Political office holders in Doma Local Government Area have been advised to eschew politics of bitterness and support ideals of the governing All Progressives Congress, APC for development to thrive in the area.
APC Chairman Doma Local Government, Ali Goshi Abubakar gave the advice during a meeting organized by the Special Assistant to the Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru Ali Agbadu held in Doma.
Re-emphasizing the need for political office holders in Doma to give priority to the welfare of the electorate, the APC Chairman Doma Local Government Area, Ali Goshi Abubakar said doing so will encourage members of the party to continue to be united in the interest of peace and progress of the area.
Ali Goshi commended Special Assistant to the Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru Ali Agbadu for convening the meeting, commending the governor’s aide for empowering some members of the party and issuance of appointment letters to twenty people as Personal Assistant and urged him to sustain the spirit.
The Doma APC Chairman used the opportunity to challenge members of the party to unite and work hard towards success of the party and avoid anything capable of causing disaffection to the development of the party and called on other political appointees to emulate Umaru Ali Agbadu.
Earlier, convener of the meeting and Special Assistant to the State Governor Umaru Ali Agbadu said he decided to empower some members of the party as part of his support to the needy so as to feel the impact of the present administration of Governor Abdullahi Sule as well as seek for unity of purpose among the APC family in Doma.
Umaru Ali Agbadu appreciated Governor Abdullahi Sule for giving him the appointment to contribute to the development of the state and pledged to canvass more support to the ruling party in the state just as he identified with the Governor on his victory at the Supreme Court in Abuja.
One of the beneficiaries, Musa Suleiman appreciated the Special Assistant to the governor for the gesture done them and called on others to emulate him in order to complement the effort of Governor Abdullahi Sule.
