Jatau Congratulates Lawmakers for Emerging Victorious

The Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau, has lauded the victory of two members of the House, Muhammed Adamu Omadefu and Musa Abubakar Ibrahim at the just concluded re-run elections in the state.

This is coming after INEC declared the two lawmakers as winners in the two supplementary elections held in Nasarawa State.

The INEC conducted supplementary election in 5 Polling units in Agaza electoral ward of Keana constituency which saw, Mohammed Adamu Omadefu of the APC winning and Musa Ibrahim Abubakar of NNPP consolidating his victory for Doma South Constituency after a polling unit re-run election.

Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Danladi Jatau while reacting to their victories said it has justified the lawmakers’ popularity and trust among their people and called on the opponents to join hands with the lawmakers to build their constituencies and the state at large.

He congratulated Muhammed Adamu Omadefu and Musa Abubakar Ibrahim on their resounding victories at the re-run elections, saying the House is waiting for their resumption to continue from where they stopped.

Speaker Jatau commended the INEC for conducting a hitch free exercise and the security agencies for ensuring a peaceful atmosphere throughout the exercise.

Danladi Jatau also commended electorate for having faith in the lawmakers and re-elected them during the re-run elections while emphasizing that with the completion of the exercise, the Nasarawa State House of Assembly is now fully completed to carry out its responsibilities.

The Speaker said the 7th Assembly’s commitment under his watch will leave no stone unturned to deliver on their mandates as well as enhance effective synergy with other arms of government for accelerated development.
