MACBAN Tasks Members on Electing Credible Leaders to Foster Peace and Development
Members of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria in Nasarawa State have been tasked to elect credible leaders that will foster peace and development of Fulani people in the state.
A Fulani leader and Ardo of Shabu, Lafia North development Area, Saleh Inusa made the call during an emergency meeting ahead of the forth coming election of the Miyetti Allah cattle breeders Association of Nigeria Held at Savanna Guest inn Jos road Lafia.
The meeting which was convened at the instance of Ardo Shabu, Lafia North Development Area brought together members of Miyetti Allah cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria to deliberate on vital issues that will enable members conduct Free, Fair and credible election of the Association.
Convener of the meeting Saleh Inusa noted that members of Miyyeti Allah Cattle Breeders Association are committed to promoting peace and unity among themselves hence the need to elect credible leaders that will uphold the core values of the association.
While noting that members of the association are peace loving and will always work towards actualizing the aspirations of the founding fathers of the state, Ardo Saleh cautioned them against voting for leaders that will not take the association to greater heights.
He pledged the association’s readiness to support the present administration of Engineer Abdullahi Sule in his efforts to bring about unity among divers nationalities in the state.
