Mada Youths Urged to Prioritize National Unity by Special Adviser
The Special Adviser to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Political Affairs Nasarawa North, Dr Kasim Mohammed Kasim has called on Mada youths to develop nationalistic mindset and work towards the unity of Mada nation.
The Special Adviser made the call during a Mada youths town hall meeting, held in Rinze, Akwanga West Development Area over the weekend.
Speaking during the meeting, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Affairs – Nasarawa North, Dr. Kasim Mohammed Kasim, who commended the initiators of the meeting, said developing a nationalistic mindset among Mada Youths will enable them avoid the manipulation of war mongers, ethnic and religious bigots who harp on divisive narratives to achieve their selfish interests.
While describing youths as backbones of any society, Dr Kasim emphasized that, it is high time youths of Mada North came together and work towards the growth and development of the area, and stressed the need for them to embrace western education for societal development.
He advised the youths to shun leaders who use them for their selfish interests and concentrate on those who would harness their potentials for a better Mada nation, calling on them to continue support Engineer Abdullahi Sule led administration in the state.
Earlier, the acting Chairman of Mada North Youths Movement and convener of the meeting, Comrade Ishaku Ahmed, said, the town hall meeting was to strengthen the unity of youths of Mada North and highlight the need to carry them along in the scheme of things.
Contributing, a Legislative Aide at the National Assembly, Iliyasu Giwa, Nathaniel Isa, Yakubu Mohammed and Dantala Bagudu, showered encomiums on the convener for organizing the town hall meeting, and promised their commitment to the sustenance of the forum for meaningful development to thrive.
