Gov Sule Says Re-Run Election is Democracy in Action
Governor Abdullahi Sule says the result of the re-run election in the 5 polling units of Agaza in Keana Local Government Area was democracy in action.
The Governor made this known while receiving the State APC Chairman, Aliyu Bello who presented Mohammed Adamu Omadefu as winner of the election.
Reaffirming his belief in the rule of law, Governor Abdullahi Sule explained that the result of the re-run election was a true reflection of the will of the people.
Maintaining that the election which also reflects the ideals of democracy is a manifestation of the choice of the people for a worthy representative who has their plights at heart.
Even as he sought the understanding and cooperation of the constituents to their member as he returned to the state assembly, the Governor also tasked members of the APC in Nasarawa State to continue to work for the unity and success of the party in all ramifications.
Presenting Mohammed Adamu Omadefu to Governor Abdullahi Sule, Nasarawa State Chairman of the APC, Aliyu Bello explained the feat is attributed to the Governor’s commitment to the unity of purpose among members.
Appreciating his constituent for having faith in him to represent them at the state assembly, Mohammed Adamu Omadefu said he remains indebted to them and will offer the best of service to them and humanity.
